    Composite Doors Worsley

Two things matter with a front door. It has to keep the house warm and secure, and it has to look like it belongs on the house. Most doors get one of those right.

We supply and fit composite doors across Worsley and the towns around it. We come out and survey the opening, go through the designs with you, fit the door, then come back if anything needs adjusting down the line. The same team the whole way.

    Our Door Range

    Front Doors

The one everybody sees, so it gets the most attention. Wood grain or smooth, solid or glazed, in whatever colour we stock.

    Back Doors

Same build as the front and the same locking. These take a daily hammering of wet boots and shopping bags.

    Patio Doors

Sliding panels that open a kitchen or living room onto the garden. They take up no floor space when they're open.

    French Doors

Two doors and a classic look, with modern locking and insulation behind it.

    Bi-Fold Doors

These fold the whole wall away. Best in extensions and open-plan rooms where you want the garden to feel like part of the house.

    Grey Composite Doors

Anthracite and slate grey are what we fit most. They look modern and they hide road dust better than white does.

What a Composite Door is Made Of

A composite door is a solid slab with thermally insulated foam in the middle, a reinforced subframe around it, and a compression-moulded skin over the top with a timber grain finish. You get the look of a painted hardwood door and none of the sanding, swelling and repainting that comes with real timber.

Standard thickness is 44mm. Ours weigh more than a typical uPVC door, which you notice the first time you shut one.

    Security

Every composite door we fit includes:

Multi-point locking with hooks and deadbolts
    An anti-snap, anti-bump and anti-drill cylinder
    Reinforced frame fixings
Laminated or toughened glass if you want it
Letter plate and spy hole upgrades on request

The fitting matters as much as the door. Ours get fixed into the structure of the house. Packing a frame out and foaming around it is where a lot of installations fall down.

    Warmth and Running Costs

An insulated core stops heat escaping through the door. A proper fit and a decent weather seal stop it escaping round the edges, and that is where most old doors lose it.

Take out an old timber or early uPVC door and the draught goes first. A week later people tend to mention that the hallway holds its heat.

    What a Composite Door Costs

A fitted composite door usually lands somewhere between a few hundred and a couple of thousand pounds. Size, glazing and hardware move it about.

We measure it up before we give you the number. The quote is written, itemised and good for 30 days. There's finance available if you'd rather spread the cost.
